Pollinator Garden Workshop with Laura Reeves

$0.00

Date: Wednesday, August 3

Time: 6-8pm

Join us on Wednesday, August 3 from 6pm to 8pm for a FREE workshop dedicated to help you create a pollinator-friendly garden hosted by guest instructor Botanist and Wild Food Enthusiast Laura Reeves. We will learn which plants will attract beneficial pollinators to our gardens and why this is so important. Afterward, we will go on walking tour of Aurora Farm to get Laura’s insights on how we might improve the diversity and health of our ecosystem here. We will be looking for caterpillar habitats and encouraging you to become a butterfly and insect protector.

Laura will also bring some of her native prairie and woodland plants to the workshop. A great opportunity to add more plants to your garden! You can search her catalogue here.

Thanks to Canadian Heritage, we have received funding to offer free workshops that focus on wellness and recovery.
